Socketed items allow you to customize your equipment by giving them specific magical properties when you fuse them with gems. Once socketed into the item, the gems add special capabilities to them.

The maximum number of Sockets for an item is 2.

How can I get a socket item? You may get a socket item by killing monsters, upgrading your items in Twin City, or completing some quests. Such items can also be found in the lottery.

How can I socket or embed a gem? Artisan Ou in Bird Island (756,545) can help you socket your right-handed weapons with 100% success rate. He charges 1 Dragon Ball for the first socket of a weapon. The second socket in the same weapon will cost you 5 Dragon Balls.
